15The last stage, and it's pretty cruel! Wraiths, ogres, red devils, and all manner of bosses bar my path. To top it off, it's a bloody vertical climb *groan*!
The stage, itself, is pretty short, but there are many threats packed in. Of particular note, do not disturb the red devils if you can help it (they are very sensitive so keep your distance). Be patient around the ogres, watch out for sudden wraiths, and watch for glitchy skeletons!
The boss of the stage are two Satans (I thought he'd be a bit more unique than that, but oh well). However, the shield weapon will actually be useful here, so it's nothing compared to the trek to reach them.
However, there is one final boss, Astaroth (who is apparently Satan's superior). It's actually pretty simple. Jump over its fireballs, and aim for its stomach belly...thing. However, the fireballs have a deceptively large hit-box, and it can be a problem when he starts cornering Arthur. However, Arthur is given armor upon reaching him (that is if you lost it on your way there), so it shouldn't be a problem.
That finishes up this game, finally! It was a bloody bear to beat without damage! Anywho, I have my next game lined up; though I will be taking a slight break until the new year. Enjoy the video!
