Mobile games can be made for more interesting by leveraging the location status of their players (that players voluntarily provide) and then mashing that data with global scores of that game. A mobile game using a combination of global and local (a la glocal) scores with glocal places can become far more interesting than pure play, stand-alone local or global games.

This presentation demonstrates the use of a unique plug and play platform (called appucino) that can instantly enable mobile games with glocal scores and glocal users and easily extend the life time value and the engagement quality of that game.

Delivered at Casual Connect Asia, May 2012.
