Gods (Amiga) - A Playguide and Review - by LemonAmiga.com
Our final fighting game in this saga features Gods, a tricky platform puzzler. I'll show you what I've managed to learn so far, although you'll see I end up getting slightly lost and forget to pick up the gem before facing the world 2 dragon. Looking back over the review, I have learned so many things just by re-watching it. Like doors require both a key and the switch. ...Isn't that obvious??

This review was requested by Shaun Dimery on the Lemon Amiga forums way back in 2011. Initially the thought of covering this game filled me with utter dread. After watching the longplay I discovered how to get through the later parts of world 2 which I was stuck on before, and I did manage to get as far as the Dragon; which is what I was aiming for.
The production process was a pain for several reasons. The video edit was fairly easy and straight forward, but due to the way I voiced the narration I ended up making a lot of verbal mistakes and talking rubbish. I usually change odd words here and there (Like 'Lets.. open that door') but in this review I made so many vocal fumbles I ended up re-voicing almost half of the video all over again! This slowed down the process, and endlessly watching back this show for over an hour each day was a drag. In the end I polished up the review enough to make the video interesting, and avoided spending too much time fixing a few 'less detectable' errors. The rest of the time was spent (once again) trying to increase the volume of my vocals so that the viewers can always hear me over the footage. In the video, you can hear the volume will change with almost every sentence. I made a few 'extra comment' captions to keep me amused over this process, which I had forgotten about, and these really help the review.
edit: you may wonder why I didnt drop the chalices earlier and why I dropped the key down from the top level instead of collecting it later. Well, I forgot how to play the game basically, and the key drop trick was on the youtube longplay, and so I thought it was necessary to do that trick in order to complete the level, when in fact it is not.
