This is a short video depicting a test flight of a ramp-launched hypersonic test vehicle with an improvized linear aerospike engine dubbed the "Linear Ghettospike".

The linear aerospike was constructed using arrays of stock "Rockomax 24-77" tiny rocket engines, as there is no such engine part available in Kerbal Space Program currently.

Please note B9 Aerospace and B9 Procedural Parts are both required along with Ven's Stock Part Revamp

The craft may just (barely) achieve orbit if the ascent profile and throttle settings were managed just right. I am happy that it just flies as it is my first hypersonic capable lifting body design.

The test vehicle depicted in the video is the GSLV (GhettoSpike Launch Vehicle) Mod 0C which is ramp launched, conventional landing. A conventional takeoff or landing (CTOL) variant is also available on KerbalX.
