Grandia ReDux is a hack that modifies many things in game. Character stats are greatly changed, skills are buffed/nerfed, equipment changed, new items/spells, and most importantly, the difficulty has been rebalanced to provide a more challenging game overall.

ISOs should be easy enough to find on your own.

The final boss of the ToT...Squid King V2.0 basically. Unlike the previous bosses though, this one has a few new tricks up its sleeve.

The main body has 22568 HP and a decent Vit score. It's high enough that a Def-Loss will give you a noticable boost in your damage output if you choose to use it.

Oh yeah, like Kung-Fu Master, the main body can regenerate HPs. You're much stronger now compared to KFM though so you shouldn't have a problem wiping the 600+ HP it gets back every now and then.

It has Suck In and Laser Eye like before. Laser Eye hits for around 200+ damage to anyone in its path, but at least it's survivable at full HP, something you usually didn't have the luxury of having in the Trent or possibly even Lord's Ghost fights.

However, what sets it apart from the other bosses is a brand new move it never used before, Twin Typhoon. This...is an odd attack to say the least. The damage is respectable at 80-160 damage to those it hits plus it can induce confusion, but the oddity is in the aiming of the attack. It could cast it and hit everyone or it could hit nobody. Pretty hilarious.

L. Tentacle has 13343 HP and focuses on offensive spells while R.Tentacle has 12992 HP and generally annoys the party with Suck In and a normal attack with huge range on it.

Anyways, first order of business...refill your SPs and MPs before going into this fight. Might as well be at 100% or close to it right?

Next, the task is to drop the spell slinging tentacle first.

Feena should open with Time Gate and throw a Boost spell on everyone except herself (Justin & Rapp first of course), but put priority on a WOW! after the males are boosted up if either one is close to getting a turn.

Everyone else should throw out their best killer move on the L.Tentacle. Yes, that includes Liete. Redshock + a WOW! or Boost and it can put up some mighty nice damage considering she isn't using any weapon with a bonus to attack.

With it dead, start throwing everything you can against the main body. Feel free to throw off a Def-Loss to boost the damage you do, but don't feel bad if you can't find a good opening to use it. You'll do just fine without it so long as the main body doesn't get off Vanish.

Watch HPs as well and heal + revive as needed until the boss folds.

Boss drops a sweet helmet with decent defense and a very nice boost to attack.
