Grandia ReDux is a hack that modifies many things in game. Character stats are greatly changed, skills are buffed/nerfed, equipment changed, new items/spells, and most importantly, the difficulty has been rebalanced to provide a more challenging game overall.

For what it's worth though, this is the last Gaia Battler you'll ever have to face.

It's basically Gaia Battler 3 again, just stronger and with a bit less HP on all the parts (Main Body 14836 HP, R.Hand 7026 HP, L.Hand 7731 HP).

First order of business is to have Liete throw down a Protect on whomever the Gaia Battler & Hands are going to assault first. If it's going to target Justin first and he gets a turn before Liete, feel free to have him use Immortal Aura so you can save Liete's Protect for another moment during the fight if needed.

Once that's settled, split everyone up so that Rust Gas doesn't hit many people if at all possible. With what you need to do to open the fight though, this might not be possible right away and you may have to have a couple people take a hit + a debuff to their defenses.

At this point, go blast the R.Hand down with magic. You don't want to see Ray Spread getting used and screwing over your entire party at this stage in the game. Thankfully R.Hand is still incredibly weak to all elements so a good 4-5 lv3 spells like GadZap or Fireburner will take it out.

Now you can focus on dropping the main body. Justin or Liete, whomever gets their turn next, should throw a Black Nail Polish on Rapp for an awesome +5 att buff. That'll make his Doppelganger hit for at least 3500+ damage if he has good stats and the right equipment. Add a few hundred more points to that if you can squeeze off a Def-Loss with Justin.

Justin & Liete can help out with Midair Cut & Redshock spamming. Main body does have Vanish, but it usually ends up being a minor bump compared to other boss battles where you have 3-4 people buffed up greatly. Just throw another Black Nail Polish Rapp's way if that happens and keep on smacking the boss until it folds.

You get some nice rewards from this fight. An awesome whip for Feena, Rapp's best sword, and a Soul of Asura. Not a bad haul at all.
