In this chapter, Manny, Meche, and Glottis find a way to put the Lamancha back into action and escape Domino's sweatshop island, though Manny is almost overpowered when Domino gives chase, defeating his most annoying enemy only through the latter's own blind vanity and arrogance. One year later, the company finally reaches The Ninth Underworld, only for Manny to understand that he has to make it all the way back to El Marrow in order to help out all the poor souls conned out of their golden tickets by Hector and Domino - but before that, he also has to find a cure for Glottis, whose deprivation from driving has proven to be nearly lethal for the poor Grand Demon. Having found a new means of transportation and brought Glottis "back up to speed", Manny and his friends backtrack to Rubacava, recover the old "Bone Wagon" from its booby-trapped state, and finally reach El Marrow, where Salvador's Resistance movement is under a serious threat of being discovered and dismantled for good... now it's up to Manny and Meche to settle things with the big mafia boss once and for all!
