He Was More Twisted Than Shockwave in the Bay Transformers. When we think of a sick and sadistic character in Transformers. It’s usually the cold and sparkless Decepticon, Shockwave. A character who’s ruled by logic and will experiment on pretty much anything. Even if it’s his own Cybertronian race. But we didn’t really get to see that with the Michael Bay version of Shockwave. It was sort of alluded to that he liked to experiment with different species. Which was evident by his pet driller that he caught on Cybertron. But everything else about him just screamed monstrous killing machine. But there was 1 Decepticon who was more like the OG Shockwave and just as twisted. Which was Flatline. A scientist that would go so far as to kill Decepticon hatchlings if it ensured his experiments of a breakthrough. 1 of his favorite past times was cannibalizing sparks from dead Cybertronians. And implant them into another dead body to create a new breed of soldier. Which he would do to Arcee, in attempt to reformat her deceased sisters. Resulting in her controlling all 3 bodies.
