Got a short one for you today - here's a run we did just before the Warbond dropped, so no new toys but I thought it was a pretty good demonstration of how smooth these Rescue missions can go if you use the 1 + 3 strat.

Key is to spawn far from the base itself, then one person (in this case, Specter) with stealth armour runs to the base to start hitting the switches, while the rest of us run interference far from the base and MAKE. SOME. NOISE!

Doing it this way, the one person at base should be able to hit those buttons and extract the scientists relatively undisturbed, while the rest of the team has fun pulling aggro. If the base gets too hot, the guy at base can head over to the other teammates, drop off all the aggro with the others, then try and break LOS and return to the base to keep at it.

You *can* still have the whole team hold at the base and do it that way, usually with liberal use of Explosive and EMS mortars - next time this mission type pops up I'll try and get a recording of us doing it the harder way!

Build:

AMR ftw. On such a long range map, you can really reach out and cover a huge area with just the AMR, taking out Hulks at ranges that the Autocannon might struggle with. With perfect aim, it's 1-shots on Devastators and Striders, 2-shots for Hulks, a mag or so for Tank vents. Since the team is splitting up, I'm bringing the Supply Backpack so I can keep popping heads.

With the new Warbond I'd probably swap out the Diligence for the Eruptor, though on this mission type its ability to take down Fabricators isn't so important. Senator for some backup sniping in a pinch, Stun nades for CC.

With no Detector Towers / Research Stations to worry about, I can drop the 500kg but keep the Eagle Airstrike for general purpose AOE and the Orbital Laser for some nice fire-and-forget.

Eradicator Armour is great for bots with its Explosive Resistance and Recoil Control for easier sniping.
