With the Arc weapon crashes fixed, it was finally time for me to try out another themed build - Arc Shotgun, Arc Thrower, Tesla Tower, and the EMS Strike and Mortar. If only there was an Arc Pistol...

This build takes care of pretty much everything except Bile Titans, but that's the beauty of coop - while I specialise in dealing with area control and trash clear, teammates can focus on the heaviest targets instead.

Props to my teammates @inexorablewarrior, Specter, and random BrolyChibi, who we accidentally called with an SOS but more than held their own!

Build:

When the Railgun nerfs hit, the Arc Thrower fast rose to the top of a lot of people's tier lists. With infinite ammo, its ability kill heavies in decent time while ignoring armour and zapping nearby trash mobs, and surprising range, it's definitely a strong choice, though it's not quite as fast at killing Chargers as the rocket launchers or even the flamer, and not quite as quick at taking out mobs as an Autocannon. For best results vs Chargers, try and aim your arcs to hit one body part, either head or leg. Bile Titan kills are also a little too slow as well, so use strats / teammates for those. In coop, you'll have to be especially careful not to zap teammates as well.

When teammates are lined up with the enemies but far enough away, or enemies are too close for you to charge up your Arc Thrower, the Arc Shotgun can do a fine job. Able to behead a Brood Commander with a single upclose shot, this thing has good damage per shot but a slow firerate, so it's best used for running and gunning. Redeemer fills in for any situations where we need some ballistic damage to fire near teammates.

My remaining 3 stratagems are all based around getting the most out of the Tesla Tower - when I see a group of enemise, I'll first hit them with an EMS strike to lock down the area, then call down the Tesla Tower to start zapping away. The EMS Mortar will then keep locking down any nearby enemies, letting the Tesla Tower do its thing. This works great in chokepoints or even thrown into the middle of small / medium nests - just make sure you bring one of the arc-resistant armours so you can wade in to take out those bug holes with your nades - I take Impact Grenades for their use vs bug holes as well as quick bile spewer kills.
