Another day, another deathless all clear solo helldive - this time we're taking on Automatons and those all-new gunships on Vandalon IV. Contrary to my usual sneaky stealth style for the Bots, I'm going with a more head-on approach, prompted by the new changes to heavy armour damage resistance and nerfed rocket damage...as well as how good that Executioner armour looks on ice planets, I mean just look at it!

Build:

Executioner armour is a perfect fit for Automatons, with its high armour rating, explosive damage resistance, and reduced recoil when crouching / prone, which helps a lot with landing those Autocannon eyeshots.

While AMR is still my favourite for bots, the Autocannon is just as amazing (when isn't it?) if not slightly better for taking enemies head-on - like the AMR it can 2-shot Hulks, and 1-shot Devastators, but is better at Striders (1-shot vs the buffed AMR's 2-shot), and can take out Fabricators with vent shots, though it is a little slower to aim than the AMR.

With the Autocannon and Strats taking care of fabricators, I can run the Stun grenades for crowd control and lining up Hulk eyeshots. Scorcher is as dependable a primary as ever, letting me take on Striders and Shield Devastators head-on if my Autocannon’s dry, with the Senator as a reliable backup.

For my other stratagems, I’m bringing the 500kg again for easy Detector Tower / Research Station demolition, Orbital Laser to take out bases or use in emergencies, and Eagle Airstrike as an all-purpose strike.

For my booster, I've gone with increased Radar though if you're not relying on stealth so much, you could go with the injury resistance instead.
