9I have to say, going through this run, I'm both surprised and immensely frustrated at the amount of tight quarters in Chex Quest 2. Lotta places where there's just single line corridors filled with Flemoids that I have no other choice but to waste my hard charged batteries that takes aeons to crank or use zerkpacks risking a 5-something minute comedown after a few minutes of use. That last one with the red key in the sewer area was just mean.
Well, okay, I could've used busting equipment to skip through some of the more crowded single line corridors, but the maps are already short enough, I don't think making it to a speed run and pretty much waltzing through the whole episode in less than 5 minutes would've been cricket, would it?
In any case, that'll be it for this run. That was pretty fun overall. Needing to dodge and weave through rows of Flemoids got pretty heart pumping when you know getting trapped between a bunch of them would mean certain doom. I definitely liked bits where there's multiple paths to take even when the corridors are single line, like that crate area. I have to wonder what mod to run CQ3 with. Would be weird to run different mods for CQ1 and CQ2 but then keep the same setup for CQ3. Maybe if I could find something that's equally intriguing for the run, we'll see.
