Hideous Destructor | Hedon: Parapet | No Failure Run
18One hundred. 'Twas a long journey, but here we are now, ladies and gents. One hundred videos of me going through Hideous Destructor without answering the invitation of the Grim Reaper for tea. Here's to the next 100, eh? Maybe 1000? Who knows!
Anyways, to celebrate the occasion. I'd figured why not run something completely different once more? Hedon seems a most intriguing environment to explore with HDest's arsenal. On that same note, I'm also using the Magick packs again, something that I think I've only done once in recording form (which was that Touhou MP run).
It took me a while, but I managed to concoct a simple replacer that drops most of Hedon's pickups for Doom's, really useful when I want to play Hedon with gameplay mods. No enemy replacers yet though, so we're not going to be fighting fairies and youkais for now.
Despite HDgal's superior arsenal, Hedon's foes are still quite a force to be reckoned with. Had a few setbacks from those miserable gas flinging ladies. Some of the jumps here are quite scary as well if you're way too encumbered.
An interesting note regarding this specific map, I somehow managed to get below par for this one. I know, I'm shocked as well. A map below par in Hideous Destructor. Unheard of. I suspect the average for this map counts in stuff like exploration or 100% completion, not expecting HDgal to bust through its defenses, so I guess its understandable on that front, still amazed though.
