Hideous Destructor | Xeno Effect | No Failure Runs | Part 2
Even if the architecture isn't as well detailed as the original, I do still commend the attempts the dev did to mix things here and there a notch. Waikiki Island here has elements from TR3's India, TR2 Gold's Kingdom, and layouts I don't quite recognize, which I'm going to assume in good faith that it's the mapper adding in their original layouts.
However, I once again unfortunately will have to dock points for adding music in the sound effects channel. The last part with the ambush has the music being affected by swimming underwater, giving the effect away. Music running through the proper channels won't have that happen.
I suspect it's done so the mapper can mix in ambience and incidental music at the same time, but I dunno, nothing stops the mapper from using a script to do the incidental music and then swap back to the ambience tracks either. Really confounding. That exact thing is also the reason why the tracks I replaced to TR ones end up overlapping at the end. Music channels would overwrite each other instead of playing at the same time.
