Hideous Destructor | Xeno Effect | No Failure Runs | Part 4
Fair amount of Wolfy blokes in this base, which gives me more chances to recover some of the 9mm I've been spending throughout the journey. Despite the seemingly easy first part of the base, the last half of this map throws some really mean encounters and interesting gimmicks to the combat mix.
I don't think I'd have survived that imp ambush if I wasn't wearing shieldcores. Also, a lotta close calls in the low gravity area, especially with the red blocks that just smacks me to the floor if I so much as graze its general area. Spent way too long trying to blast those knights in the area with the 2 bridges.
The last stretch certainly had my heart pumping with the soundtrack what with the chaingunner and rifle jackboot next to the exit. That's it for Nevada and the longest map in this campaign! We can finally move on to someplace a bit more industrial and less sandy.
