Somehow I'm both surprised and unsurprised that this mapset would have an inventory clear halfway through. TRs 1 through 3 has your inventory taken in different parts of them in either the last stretch, the midway point, or the second place you visit if you decide wisely.

Certainly a tricky spot to clear with HDest where not having armor can be the decider of life and death when some zombie manages to get a good burst or shotgun blast on you, though thankfully imps and babuins are still more manageable on that front. Well, I say that, and then LA Docks decided that the masterclass of encounter design was to put gunmen behind fakewalls. Good thing I already got both armor and turrets by then. Dunno what I'll do without 'em.

That's right, with both the rig and the escape done, we're finally at the last stretch of this mapset. The doorstep of the big bad lady. I feel a sudden tinge of regret not loading the Something addon for the Antarctic missions, but I don't think there's much bodies in this part of the mapset anyways, so maybe it wouldn't have been as striking as it was in OG TR3 when Core decided to go full The Thing on the player. Like the other maps, no fancy setpieces like the giant boat over icy waters or whatnot, but the crowded fight and other surviving setpieces makes up for it somewhat.
