5To add a password lock for App Store purchases on your iPhone, follow these steps:
Method 1: Require Password for Purchases
Open Settings: Go to your iPhone's home screen and tap the Settings app.
Tap on Your Apple ID: This is your name at the top of the settings menu.
Select Media & Purchases: Tap on Media & Purchases, then choose Password Settings.
Choose Password Requirement:
Under Purchases and In-App Purchases, you can select Always Require Password.
You can also toggle the option to Require After 15 Minutes if you don’t want to input your password for every purchase.
Method 2: Enable Face ID/Touch ID for Purchases
If you want to use Face ID or Touch ID instead of a password:
Open Settings: Go to Settings.
Face ID & Passcode or Touch ID & Passcode: Scroll down and tap this option.
Enable iTunes & App Store: Toggle on the switch for iTunes & App Store under the Use Face ID/Touch ID section.
