Well, it is a mod that adds in small, medium, and large backpacks that you can use to store additional items with you when you are mining and exploring. There is also an ‘ender backpack’ that allows players to access their ender chest from anywhere. You can also change the colors of all the backpacks in game in order to get the most customization possible out of your backpacks.
Thus, without anymore delay, here is how to download and install the Useful Backpacks Mod in Minecraft 1.16.4.
The first step of getting Useful Backpacks 1.16.4 is actually downloading and installing Forge for 1.16.4. You can find our in-depth guide to getting Forge for 1.16.4 in the description above. It goes over everything that you need to know about getting Forge from where to download it to how to install it. It even covers some of the issues you may have when installing Forge for 1.16.4.
After you have Forge downloaded, it is time to download Useful Backpacks. You can find the official Useful Backpacks mod download link in the description above. Once you are there, look at the right-hand sidebar and scroll down until you see the ‘Minecraft 1.16’ section. Under that, you will see a 1.16.4 version of Useful Backpacks. Click the purple download button to the right of this mod, and the download will start after a few seconds. You will need to keep/save the file depending on your browser.
You aren’t done downloading completely though. You still need to download the UTeamCore mod which can be found in the description above. This is a compatibility mod, and it is needed for Useful Backpacks to work.
Now that you have Useful Backpacks and UTeamCore downloaded, it is time to get it installed. To this, press the Windows Key on your keyboard and ‘R’ at the exact same time. This will open the ‘Run’ application. From there, type ‘%appdata%’ in the text box, and hit enter. When you do this, your roaming folder will open up. In here, you will find a .minecraft folder. Open that, and you should see a mods folder. If you don’t have a mods folder, create one! Finally, open your mods folder.
To install the Backpack Mod in Minecraft 1.16.4, drag-and-drop the ‘Useful Backpacks’ and ‘UTeamCore’ mods into this folder. It’s that easy. You have now install the Backpack Mod for Minecraft 1.16.4.
You aren’t completely done though! You still need to open up the Minecraft Launcher, select the Forge version by clicking the arrow in the bottom right. Now, click Play. Minecraft 1.16.4 will open up with Useful Backpacks installed!
