About this video: In this video, we show you how to change your skin in Minecraft 1.16.4. Getting a new Minecraft skin is a great way to personalize your character in Minecraft. What’s also great is skins work on Minecraft servers, so you can show off your skins to other players on the servers you play on. We also show you how to quickly change skins in Minecraft using the Minecraft Launcher and its save skin feature. Thus, without any more delay, here is how to change your Minecraft skin in 1.16.4!
The first step of getting a skin in Minecraft 1.16.4 is downloading it. You could also make your own skin using the tutorial in the description above. However, we are going to be downloading a pre-made Minecraft skin for this tutorial. You can find a link in the description above to the Skindex where you can search for and view thousands of different Minecraft skins for 1.16.4. All of these skins will work in Minecraft 1.16.4, so select any skin that you like.
Once you have clicked the skin you want to use, click on the grey ‘download’ button on the right-hand side of the page. The skin will then automatically download. It’s that easy to download a skin for Minecraft 1.16.4!
After you have your skin downloaded, it is time to install a new skin in Minecraft 1.16.4. To do this, open up the Minecraft launcher. From the main page in the Minecraft launcher, click on the ‘skins’ tab at the top of Minecraft. This will take you to where you can add a new skin. First though, click the ‘Add to library’ button for your current skin just in case you want to go back to it later.
To add a new skin to Minecraft 1.16.4, click on the ‘+ New Skin’ button. You will then need to enter a name for your skin, select a player model, click the browse button, find the and select the skin file you downloaded, and click ‘save & use’. When you do this, a new skin will be added to your launcher, and the new skin will be on your player. It’s that easy. You have now installed a new skin in Minecraft 1.16.4!
