4If you want to appear offline on your Nintendo Switch account, follow these steps:
Access User Settings:
Wake up your Nintendo Switch and press the “Home” button.
Select your user profile icon from the upper-left corner of the screen.
Navigate to Friend Settings:
In the sidebar menu, choose “User Settings.”
Scroll down and select “Friend Settings.”
Adjust Online Status Visibility:
Under “Display online status to,” choose “No One.”
Alternatively, you can select “Best Friends” if you only want your best friends to see your online status.
Disable Play Activity:
Even if your online status is hidden, your friends might still see your play activity (recently played games).
To disable play activity, go to your profile page and select “User Settings” - “Play Activity Settings.” Set it to “No One.”
Enjoy Privacy:
After making these changes, your Nintendo Switch friends won’t be notified when you’re online or playing a game.
