If your camera isn’t working on Windows 10 or 11 and you think pressing F8 might help, here are some steps you can try:

Check the F8 Key: On some laptops, the F8 key is used to enable or disable the camera. If pressing F8 alone doesn’t work, try pressing Fn + F8 to see if that helps.

Update Camera Drivers: Sometimes, outdated drivers can cause issues. Go to Device Manager, find your camera under Imaging devices, right-click it, and select Update driver.

Check Privacy Settings: Ensure that your camera is allowed to be used by apps. Go to Settings - Privacy - Camera and make sure the camera access is turned on

Run the Camera Troubleshooter: Windows has a built-in troubleshooter that can help identify and fix camera issues. Go to Settings - Update & Security - Troubleshoot - Additional troubleshooters and select Camera.
