To change the welcome screen background on your PS5 console, follow these steps:

Start your PS5 and navigate to the Welcome hub.
Press the Triangle button and scroll to the right to find the Change Background icon.

Select the Change Background icon. You’ll be presented with various preset backgrounds to choose from.
If you want to use a custom image, you can select an image from your Media Gallery
