Prepare by drinking the Griffin Decoction and applying Elementa Oil. When the fight begins use Quen to protect yourself and cast it again when necessary to protect yourself. When fighting Nithral use Thunderbolt to increase your damage. When Nithral gets low he will cast a shield around himself and summon hounds. While he's shielded if you attack him you will get knocked back so do not attack and instead drink a Tawny Owl and use Igni to defeat the hounds. Once the hounds are defeated you drink another Thunderbolt and go back to Nithral until he summons more hounds. If your health gets too low make sure to use a Swallow potion. After you defeat the hounds a second time its time to take down Nithral. Continue to use Elementa Oil, Quen and potions until Victory.
