How to Block Calls from Unknown Numbers on Android Phone (Settings Tutorial)
2Blocking calls from unknown numbers on your Android phone is a great way to avoid unwanted interruptions. Here are two methods you can use, depending on your phone model:
Using the Google Phone App:
Open the Phone by Google app (available for most Android phones, not just Google Pixel).
Tap the three-dot menu icon in the top-right corner.
Select “Settings.”
Choose “Blocked Numbers.”
Toggle the switch “Unknown” to block calls from unidentified callers. You’ll no longer receive calls from unknown numbers.
For Samsung Galaxy Phones:
Open the Phone app.
Go to the “Keypad” tab.
Tap the three-dot menu icon in the top-right corner.
Select “Settings.”
Navigate to “Block Numbers.”
Toggle the switch “Block Calls From Unknown Numbers.”
Voilà! Calls from unidentified numbers will no longer ring your phone
