How to Block a Number on your Android Phone (Settings Tutorial)
0Blocking unwanted calls on your Android phone is a breeze! Here are the steps you can follow:
Using the Contacts Section from the Phone App:
Open your Phone app.
Navigate to the Contacts tab.
Find the contact you want to block and tap on it.
Select “Block numbers”.
Choose whether you want to report the number as spam or not.
Confirm by hitting “Block”.
Using the Recents Section from the Phone App:
Open your Phone app.
Go to the Recents section.
Long-press on the number you want to block.
Hit “Block/report spam”.
Check or uncheck the box to report the call as spam.
Select “Block”.
From the Phone App Settings:
Open your Phone app.
Tap the three-dot menu button in the top-right corner.
Choose the number you want to block.
