To open the on-screen keyboard on your Steam Deck, follow these steps:

1. Press the Steam Button and X Button:
Simultaneously press the Steam button (located on the left side of the Steam Deck) and the X button on the controller. This shortcut will immediately bring up the on-screen keyboard.

2. Using the On-Screen Keyboard:
Once the keyboard appears, you can use the touchscreen or the thumbsticks and buttons to type.

3. Closing the Keyboard:
To close the on-screen keyboard, press the B button, or it will automatically disappear when you tap outside the text field.

This method is handy for entering text while browsing, in games, or when navigating menus on your Steam Deck.
