How to Cast your Screen to TV or Other Device on Android Phone (Settings Tutorial)
Screen mirroring allows you to display your Android phone’s screen on a larger device, such as a TV. Here are the steps to cast your Android phone screen to a TV:
Using Google Home App (Chromecast or Chromecast-enabled device):
Ensure your TV has a Chromecast or a Chromecast-enabled streaming device (like a Google TV stick).
Open the Google Home app.
Long-press your TV to open it.
Tap the “Cast My Screen” shortcut at the bottom of the screen.
Confirm that Google will have access to all visible information on your screen.
Your phone screen should now appear on your TV.
To stop casting, tap “Stop Mirroring” in the Google Home app or from the notification.
Using Chrome or Edge on PC or Mac:
You can also cast your screen from a PC or Mac using Chrome or Edge.
For Fire TV devices (which are technically Android), follow slightly different steps.
Mirroring to Roku:
Most Android devices (except Google Pixel phones) support Miracast.
On your Android phone:
Swipe down to access the Quick Settings menu.
Tap “Smart View” (or your phone’s equivalent).
Select the TV you want to view your phone’s screen on.
Rotate your screen to landscape mode for a full-screen experience on the TV.
