How to Clear the Cache on an APP using Android Phone (Settings Tutorial)
Clearing the cache on an Android phone can help resolve app-related issues and free up storage space. Here are the steps to clear both app cache and browser cache:
Clearing App Cache:
Open the Settings app on your Android phone.
Select “Apps” or “Applications” (the exact wording may vary based on your phone model).
Next to “Your Apps,” tap the hamburger menu (three horizontal lines).
Choose “Sort By” and select “Size.”
Scroll through the app list and select the app for which you want to clear the cache.
On the app’s page, scroll down and select “Storage.”
Next to “Cache,” you’ll see the current cache size for the selected app.
Tap “Clear Cache” to remove the cache files.
Remember that apps will recreate cache files as you use them, providing a better app experience. You don’t need to clear the cache daily, but it’s a good idea to do it occasionally, especially when encountering app-related issues.
