To add a lock screen PIN to your Steam Deck for extra security, follow these steps:

Open the Steam Menu:

Press the Steam button on the left side of the device to bring up the main menu.
Go to Settings:

Scroll down and select "Settings."
Navigate to Security:

In the Settings menu, scroll down and select "Security."
Set a Lock Screen PIN:

In the Security section, you'll find an option to "Set PIN."
Select this option and enter your desired 4-6 digit PIN.
Confirm the PIN:

After entering your PIN, you’ll need to confirm it by entering it again.
Enable Lock Screen:

Once the PIN is set, you can customize when the lock screen appears (e.g., on wake or on startup) by adjusting the settings under "Lock Screen" in the same menu.
