How to Change DNS Settings to GOOGLE on Windows 11 PC (Best Method)
You can change your DNS to Google's Public DNS on a Windows 11 PC using either the Settings app or the classic Control Panel. The Settings app method is often considered the most straightforward for Windows 11 users, as it's a more modern and streamlined interface.
Using the Windows 11 Settings App
Press the Windows key + I to open the Settings app.
In the left-hand menu, click on Network & internet.
Choose your current connection type, either Ethernet or Wi-Fi.
Scroll down to the "DNS server assignment" section and click the Edit button.
In the dropdown menu, change the setting from "Automatic (DHCP)" to Manual.
Toggle the IPv4 switch to the On position.
In the "Preferred DNS" field, enter 8.8.8.8.
In the "Alternate DNS" field, enter 8.8.4.4.
If you also want to set up IPv6, toggle the IPv6 switch to On and enter the following addresses:
Preferred IPv6 DNS: 2001:4860:4860::8888
Alternate IPv6 DNS: 2001:4860:4860::8844
Click the Save button to apply your changes.
