How to Configure DHCP on Cisco Router in Cisco Packet Tracer | SYSNETTECHSolutions

To configure #DHCP:
Step 1: First, open the #PacketTracer simulator software and add one Cisco Router, two Cisco Switches, and four computers to its workspace.
Step 2: Cable the devices as in the network topology in our video tutorial, and then specify an IP address for the two subnets on the Router.
Step 3: Now, open the Router's CLI prompt and assign an IP address to GigabitEthernet 0/0 and GigabitEthernet 0/1 interfaces and open the ports.
Step 4: To create a new DHCP pool to distribute IP addresses automatically on the router, execute the commands in the 3:25 time frame in the terminal respectively.
Step 5: Select the DHCP option in the IP Configuration window of the computers and check if they automatically obtain an IP address.
Step 6: Since you have created a DHCP pool for LAN1, only computers connected to that network will be automatically assigned IP addresses. Now create a DHCP pool named LAN2 to automatically distribute IP addresses for all network devices connected to the Router's Gig0/1 interface.
Step 7: Configure the TCP/IP settings of the devices in LAN2 as DHCP and check if they get an IP address.
Step 8: You can see the IP addresses assigned automatically with the show ip dhcp binding command in privileged mode on the router.
