This video will show you how, for $3 plus tax, you can create a rigid hardcover protective shell case for your smartphone in order to protect its touchscreen and front-facing buttons, provided that its dimensions are similar to or smaller than those of the iPhone 4. This method has been proven to work nicely with the following mobile handsets:
