About this video: This video is our complete step-by-step guide on how to create a website for your business. We then show you how to get your business on Google in order to start getting customers from Google for free. This will get our business on Google Maps, and it will allow to show up when someone Googles for a business like yours in your area.
First things first though, we need to create a website. We are going to be starting a WordPress website with Bluehost. This combiation will give us increidble high-quality hosting through Bluehost paired with the best back-end management system the internet has ever seen in WordPress.
To start making your business' website you need to purchase hosting. This is going to cost you around $70 per year, and if you purchase through Bluehost you get a domain completely free. I walk you through the entire setup process for Bluehost from choosing a plan to getting WordPress installed to even getting your theme installed automotically by Bluehost. It is all covered here.
After you have your hosting purchased, we need to customize your website. We are using the Sydney WordPress theme in this video which you can find linked above. With that being said though, this video will give you the basics of any WordPress theme if you are using a pagebuilder to get your site setup. This is highly recommended.
When setting up your site, I will show you how to add a logo to your website's menu bar, how to setup a menubar on WordPress, how to add a silder to your website's homepage, how to create an about page for your business, and much, much more. So much is covered here that you will have your business' website setup without any trouble. Plus, it will be ready for Google in absolutely no time!
Speaking of Google, you will need to add your business website to Google in order to start seeing results from setting up a website. This is a very simple thing to do, and it requires is for us to go setup and fill out fully a Google My Business account. Google My Business is your complete portal to your business' presense on Google, so be sure to fill out everything. From an about page to adding images of your business. Everything needs to be filled out if you want to grow your business for free with Google.
After you have done that, you are done! You have now created, setup, and customized a website for your business. You've also added your business to Google in order to get more customers!
