About this video: This video is our step-by-step guide on how to download and install Datapacks in Minecraft 1.13.2. Datapacks are basically Minecraft 1.13 mods that run off of the vanilla Minecraft client. Adding them to a server can make the gameplay a lot better, and just generally a lot more fun changing up the vanilla Minecraft experience. So let's go ahead and get on into setting up datapacks on our #Minecraft 1.13.2 server!
First and foremost, you will need to download a datapack for your server. You can have as many datapacks as you want, but I would recommend starting out with just a few in order to make sure they are all work. You can find the VanillaTweaks datapacks linked above. These are the same datapacks that are used on the HermitCraft server.
After you have your #MinecraftServer datapacks downloaded, we need to get them installed. This is super easy. Just open up your server's folder, if you don't already have a server, check out the link above to see how to set one up. In your server's folder, find the 'world' folder. Then, you will have a 'datapacks' folder. If you don't have a datapacks folder, you will need to update your server to 1.13+ as datapack #MinecraftMods only work on 1.13 plus servers.
Once you have found your datapacks folder, just drag and drop your datapacks into it. Start your server, and you are done! It is that easy to install datapacks on a 1.13.2 server. This will work with any datapacks that you want, and since the installation process is so easy, why not add a ton? From Lucky Blocks to Damage Indicators to adding furniture, you can install them all on your server using this method!
With that being said, I hope this video helped you download and install datapacks on your Minecraft server. If it did, please give the video a thumbs up and be sure to subscribe to the channel if you haven't already. It really helps us out, and it means a ton to me. Thank you very, very much in advance!
