About this video: How can you start a creative Minecraft server? Well, I go over exactly that in this video showing you how to setup Plot Squared, so you can make a public Creative #Minecraft server! I also go over all of the plugins you will need for a creative server, and I even show you to add World Edit to your creative server in a way that won't lag the entire server. So, let's go ahead and create our creative Minecraft server.
First and foremost, we will need to setup our server.properties file to have the 'FLAT' world type and set the default gamemode as 1. This will give us a super flat world in creative mode on spawn in. We then need to download all of the plugins for our creative server. The only plugin you 100% have to have for a #CreativeServer is PlotSquared.
$PlotSquared will allow you to have creative plots for all of your players. Setting up PlotSquared is pretty easy. Just run /plot setup, and follow along with the default settings. Just do /plot setup DEFAULTVALUE on each on of the the things PlotSquared asks for. After that, it'll be 100% setup, and you will be teleported to your plot world.
It's that easy. You can now claim plots, and players can build in these plots. Use permissions to give players access to World Edit in their plots, and you are good to go. It really is that simple!
