About this video: In this video, I show you exactly how to setup a #VPN in Windows 10. If you want to add a VPN to your PC, this video will show you exactly how to do it! I go over everything from how to buy a VPN to how to download a VPN to even how to install a VPN. It is all covered in this video! So, let's go ahead and get on into it!
First and foremost, we need to purchase our VPN. There are tons of different VPN options out there, but for this video, we are going to use Private Internet Access. Private Internet Access is one of the most popular VPNs out there with over 20 countries, tons of servers, and incredible security. I use them myself, and thus, they are who I recommend for this video. Purcashing PIA is very easy, and they have tons of different plans to choose from.
After you have purchased your VPN, you will be taken to a page where you can download the VPN for your operating system. In the case of this video, that will be #Windows10. If you have a different operating system like MacOS or Linux, you will need to download the correct app for those operating systems.
Once the VPN file is downloaded, we need to install the VPN. This is just like installing any other program. Double click on it, click next, next, and the VPN will install. Now, you will click finish and you are done. Private Internet Access will the open up, and you will be able to login into PIA. Your username and password for your VPN account were emailed to you.
After you have found your username and password, enter it here, there are a few other configuration options you can look through here. You are most likely going to be able to leave these as default without any issues. Now, login to your VPN. To activate your VPN connection click on it in the top left of the screen. This is going to show you all of the information you need such as connecting, switching servers, and more.
