About this video: This video is our complete guide on how to purchase a #Minecraft 1.13.2 server. We go over everything from getting your 24-hour 1.13.2 server to install plugins on a hosted Minecraft server. it is all covered here, so let's just go ahead and jump right no into it!
First and foremost, you need to find your #MinecraftServer host. For this, I would recommend #ApexMinecraftHosting. Apex is who we use for our own public Minecraft server, and they are 110% the best Minecraft server hosting company in the world. Because of this, I cannot recommend anyone else, and they will be who we are using for this tutorial.
Once you find your Minecraft server host, you need to purchase your server. Apex has tons of different plans. The more RAM you buy the less laggy your server will be. I would recommend a 2GB server for most people. For this video, we will be going with a 1GB server as it will perfect for example purposes. The purchase process is super simple. Just enter your information, and you will be taken to a getting started style page.
You will also get an email with all of your server's login information. This email will also give you the IP to your server and where you can go to login to Multicraft Panel. Click the 'login' button under the Panel Account info, and you will be taken to Multicraft. From here, you will need to review the settings on this page. Most of them will be left the same. Now go to 'FTP File Access' on the left-hand sidebar.
After you are here, you need to download FileZilla. You can find the download link above. FileZilla will let you access your Minecraft server and add files like plugins and mods to it. You will also need to download your plugins and mod. We have a list of 10 incredible Spigot plugins linked above.
After you have FileZilla installed and your plugins downloaded, you need to open FileZilla and enter your login information from the Apex FTP page in the connect bar at the top of FileZilla. Then, click connect, and you will be good to go. Now, just find your plugins folder, double-click on it, and drag your plugin from your computer into the plugins folder.
Head a back over to Apex Minecraft Hosting, and click 'Restart' on your server. Now, take the IP in your getting started email, open up Minecraft, click direct connect, and paste that IP in. Click connect, and you are done! You will now join your 24 hour Minecraft server that has plugins installed. Congrats!
