About this video: In this video, I walk you through how to get a minimap mod in Minecraft 1.13. Specifically, I show you how to download and install the Voxel Minimap mod in Minecraft 1.13. This is a long-standing minimap, and it has been updated through tons of different versions of Minecraft. Because of this, it is feature packed allowing you to turn off tons of different options to order to customize the minimap however you like. With that being said, let's go ahead and get it installed!
First and foremost, we need to download Voxel Minimap. This is pretty simple, and you can find the VoxelMap 1.13 download link in the description above. When downloading Voxel Minimap, make sure you are downloading the 1.13 Rift version of the mod or this will not work. Speaking of Rift, we also need to download the Rift mod loader in order to run Voxel Map. You can find the Rift download link above!
After you have #VoxelMap and Rift downloaded, we need to install the Voxel Minimap #MinecraftMod and the Rift mod loader. Starting off, we need to install Rift. This is very simple. Just double click on the downloaded file. After that, you are done! It will say 'successfully installed'. Now, open up the 'Run' program by pressing the Windows Key and R on your keyboard at the same time.
In this application, type '%appdata%'. This will open up your roaming folder where you then want to find the '.minecraft' folder. Open this up, and there should be a 'mods' folder. If there isn't, just create one! Now, go ahead and drop the Voxel Minimap mod in the mods folder. Now, open up your Minecraft launcher, select the 'Rift' profile using the little green arrow next to the play button, and click play.
Congratulations! You have now installed Voxel Minimap in Minecraft 1.13. Once you're in game, just hit 'm' on your keyboard to see the map.
