🔑 Want to get rid of distractions or control the notifications on your Windows 11 laptop or desktop? You can easily disable or customize notifications to suit your preferences. Here’s how to manage your notifications:

Steps to Disable Notifications on Windows 11:
Open Settings

Click on the Start menu and select Settings, or press Windows + I to open the Settings app.
Go to System Settings

In the Settings window, click on System from the left sidebar.
Select Notifications

Scroll down and click on Notifications under the System section.
Turn Off Notifications

Toggle the Notifications switch to Off. This will disable all notifications for your system.
You can also disable specific types of notifications by scrolling down and turning off individual options, such as:
Get notifications from apps and other senders (turns off all app notifications)
Show notifications on the lock screen
Allow notifications to play sounds
Disable Notifications for Specific Apps

If you don’t want to turn off all notifications, you can disable notifications from specific apps.
Under the Notification preferences section, find the app you want to disable notifications for, and toggle it off.
Disable Focus Assist

Focus Assist helps you block notifications when you need to focus. To enable Focus Assist:
Go to Settings System Focus Assist.
Choose your desired setting: Off, Priority Only, or Alarms Only.
When Focus Assist is active, it will limit or block notifications based on your settings.
Disable Notifications from the Action Center

You can also quickly disable notifications from the Action Center.
Click on the Action Center icon (bottom-right corner of the screen) and click on Focus Assist to turn it on/off directly.
Tips:
Priority List: In Focus Assist settings, you can set a Priority List to allow only important notifications to come through while blocking others.
Quiet Hours: You can set specific hours when you want Focus Assist to automatically turn on, such as during work hours or at night.
Taskbar Notifications: To manage Taskbar notification icons, go to Settings Personalization Taskbar, and choose which icons should be shown in the system tray.
