About this video: This video is our step-by-stepo guide on how to download and install Just Enough Items in Minecraft 1.14.4. We go over every single step of getting JEI for 1.14.4. From downloading Just Enough Items to getting it installed in the game, this video covers it all. JEI for 1.14.4 is a really cool mod as it allows you to easily search all of the items in Minecraft and see what you need to craft them. it also allows you to one-click import items into a crafting table. Thus, it really is one of the best inventory enhancer mods I've ever seen in for Minecraft 1.14.4.
The first part of getting Just Enough Items 1.14.4 is downloading it. You can find the official download link for JEI 1.14.4 in the description above. Once you are there, click the yellow 'download' button to go to the Just Enough Items download page for 1.14.4. Download the 1.14.4 version from the right-hand side of the page by clicking the purple download arrow/button on it. Your download will start automatically.
You aren't done downloading just yet though. Just Enough Items for 1.14.4 requires Forge to work. Luckily, we have an in-depth guide on getting Forge for 1.14.4 JEI in the description above. We have helped millions of people install Forge and Forge mods over the years, and that article/video walks you through every single step. Just make sure that you are download Forge for 1.14.4. Otherwise, Just Enough Items will not work, and you will have issues.
Once JEI is downloaded and Forge is installed in 1.14.4, we can go ahead and add Just Enough Items to Minecraft 1.14.4. To do this, click on the Windows icon in the bottom left of your screen. Then, go ahead and type 'Run'. This will show you a search result with the 'Run' Application. Click on that. In this application, you will have a text box where you will enter '%appdata%' and hit enter. Then, your 'Roaming' folder will open up. Here, you will see a '.minecraft' folder. Open this folder, and it will have a 'mods' folder inside of it. If you don't have a 'mods' folder, create one! Now, just drag and drop Just Enough Items for Minecraft 1.14.4 into this mods folder.
The hard part of getting Just Enough Items in Minecraft 1.14.4 is done! Now, all we need to do is open the Minecraft launcher, click on 'versions' at the top of the launcher, and click the green 'Play' button on the Forge profile. At this point, Minecraft 1.14.4 will open up with the JEI mod installed!
