This plugin pays players on your Minecraft server for staying online for a certain amount of time, and in this video, we go over setting up every single aspect. Our goal with this video is to complete an in-depth admin guide on how to set up Time Is Money in Minecraft. Thus, let's go ahead and jump right on into it.
Time Is Money doesn't have much in-game configuration other than its ATM system. Thus, we're going to jump straight into the config. In the config, most stuff can be left the same. You can disable TimeIsMoney in specific worlds if you would like. I would recommend just leaving it on everywhere though. Something to look at, however, is if you want the Time Is Money plugin payouts to display in chat, the actionbar, or both. I would recommend just displaying them in one, and depending on how fast your chat is, moving it to the actionbar could be a good idea.
The next thing to look at in the #TimeIsMoney configuration is the 'give_money_every_second' section. This is how many seconds you want to put between Time Is Money payouts. By default, this will be set to 600 seconds or every 10 minutes. I wouldn't make it much longer than that. If you want to go shorter, that is fine. However, 5 minutes or 300 seconds is my recommended limit. You run a chance of causing some lag if you have a lot of players online and they are all getting paid.
You can also have payouts be random amounts. If you want this, you can change the 'choose-payout-by-chance' permission. Another config setting you may way to look at is the 'afk_payout' one. This is whether players get paid when they are AFK or not. I would recommend not paying players that aren't actively playing.
Now, we can finally move on the 'payouts' section of the Time is Money config. This is where you can set how much money is paid out for each rank on your server. If you choose random payouts though, this is where you can set the amounts that can randomly be paid out. The payouts should be numbered. You can set a permission on the payouts if you want. You can then give these to the ranks and players on your server in order to make sure they get the payout.
If you are using the chance payout system, you can also set a chance here. This is based out of 100, and all of your payout chances need to add up to 100. Here, you can set a payout amount of each level. You can have these increase in each payout and change the permissions on your ranks as needed. You can also set up a max payout per day. Lastly, if you want to run a console command for your players using the 'commands' option, you can enter them here. Use %player% where you would need a players name.
