How To Download Your Netlify Websites Files
31In this video, I will show you how to download your deployed Netlify sites assets onto your local device. If you mistakenly deleted your original website files or need to work on your site on a new device and haven't brought a backup copy with you, then this video will take you step by step through the process attaining a copy.

Steps To Download Netlify Deployed Site Assets:
1. Open your browser and navigate to https://www.netlify.com
2. Click Log in and sign in to your Netlify account
3. Click Sites
4. Click on the deployed site you would like to download the assets for
5. Click Deploys
6. Click on the site deployment which says Production Published
7. Click on the download icon next to the word Production
8. Click Download ready
9. Your sites files will now be downloaded as a zip to your default download directory
10. If you're on Google Chrome browser, click on the arrow next to your download once the download has completed
11. Click Show in folder
12. Extract the contents of the downloaded zip file by right clicking on it and selecting Show more options, followed by Extract to "YourZipFileFolderNameHere"

13. Your zip file will now extract its content to a folder of the same zip file name
14. Double click on this folder to open it and view your websites files
15. View a preview of your website by clicking on the Index.html file
Congratulations, you have successfully downloaded your Netlify websites files onto your local device.
