🔑 Flight Mode, also known as Airplane Mode, disables all wireless communications, including Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and mobile data (if available). Enabling Flight Mode can be helpful for quickly cutting off all network access or saving battery. Here’s how to turn Flight Mode on and off in Windows 11:
Steps to Enable or Disable Flight Mode in Windows 11 on Laptop or Desktop PC:
Open Quick Settings Panel
On your taskbar, click the Network, Sound, and Battery icon located at the bottom-right corner.
This will open the Quick Settings panel.
Find and Toggle Flight Mode
In the Quick Settings panel, look for the Airplane Mode icon (it resembles an airplane).
To turn on Flight Mode, click the Airplane Mode icon. This will immediately disable Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and other wireless connections.
To turn off Flight Mode, click the Airplane Mode icon again. This will re-enable your wireless connections.
Using Settings to Enable Flight Mode
Alternatively, go to Settings by pressing Windows + I.
Select Network & Internet from the left sidebar.
Click on Airplane Mode, then toggle the switch to turn Flight Mode on or off.
Tips:
Battery Saving: Enabling Flight Mode can help save battery by reducing background activities and disconnecting from networks.
Reconnecting to Networks: After disabling Flight Mode, you may need to reconnect manually to your preferred Wi-Fi or Bluetooth devices.
