Like many other smartphones, Vivo devices also have different reset options that can be executed by end-users whenever needed. Depicted in this tutorial video is a factory reset on the Vivo Y20i model.
A factory reset is typically deemed among the last resorts when dealing with recurring issues that are attributed to some stubborn bugs, errant apps and corrupted system data.
This reset works by wiping all user data including downloaded apps, custom settings, saved contacts and other important files from the internal storage. Any existing bugs, erratic apps and corrupted system data are likewise deleted in the process. As a result, the device reboots in a clean state with everything in it working as intended.
