Enabling Dark Mode Via Quick Settings
The Dark Mode is one of the features that is readily available from the Quick Settings panel. Which means that you can enable it with a couple of swipes and a tap. Here’s how:
Swipe down from the top of the screen with two fingers. This will pull the Quick Settings panel down.
Swipe to the left to find the Dark Mode icon.
Once found, tap on it to activate it.
The screen will immediately turn dark, and your phone will use a high contrast theme.
Enabling Dark Mode Via Settings Menu
You can also activate Dark Mode through the Settings menu. The feature can be found until Display.
To do so, swipe down from the top of the screen to pull the notification panel down.
Find the Settings icon at the upper-right corner, and then tap on it.
Once the Settings menu is opened, scroll down to find Display, and then tap on it.
Now tap Dark mode to activate.
Just like the first method, your phone will immediately switch to a high contrast theme.
Enabling Dark Mode Automatically
If you want, you can automate dark mode so that your phone will enable it on its own when the designated time comes. It will also switch back to Light Mode by itself at a designated time. Here’s how you do that:
Swipe down from the top of the screen with two fingers to pull the Quick Settings panel down.
Swipe to the left to find the Dark Mode icon.
Once found, tap and hold on it until the Display Settings screen opens.
Tap the switch next to Schedule Dark mode.
Now set the time when you want it to be enabled, and the time it will be disabled.
After doing that, your Redmi Note 9 will enable and disable Dark mode at the designated time.
