How To Enable The Battery Saver Feature On Redmi Note 9
You can use the emergency battery saver feature when your device is low on battery and you still need to use some functions on your device. The battery saver can give you an extra day of using your Redmi Note 9 without charging it. Here’s how you enable it:
Swipe down from the top of the screen to pull the notification panel down.
Tap the gear icon at the upper-right corner to open the Settings app.
Scroll down to find Battery and performance.
Once found, tap on it.
On this screen, you can see the estimated amount of time before the battery runs empty. You can also see a couple of battery saver features you can use.
To enable the Battery saver feature, tap the toggle switch next to it. The moment you do that, the estimated amount of time above will change. Most of the time, that will be enough to keep the device going before you can have access to a power source.
However, if you badly need to minimize your phone’s battery use, then you can make use of the Ultra battery saver feature. Just like the first one, just touch the switch next to it. Doing so will force-stop most of the background services and features, as well as change the overall interface of your device.
The screen will turn dark so that only the texts and icons have light color. As a result of it, your phone may last for several days, depending on how much battery is left.
Basically, if the Ultra battery saver feature is enabled, only texting and calling services will be left running. But that should be enough just to keep you contactable.
If you want to disable Ultra battery saver, just tap the icon on the upper-right corner and everything will be brought back to normal.
Those two features are enough for everyone who simply wants to conserve battery.
