How to Fix Can't Connect to DHCP Server on Xbox One Network (Easy Tutorial)
1Power Cycle Your Network Equipment:
Turn off your Xbox One, router, and modem.
Unplug the power cables from both the modem and router.
Wait for about 30 seconds to 1 minute.
Plug the modem back in and wait for it to fully restart.
Plug in the router and wait for it to fully restart.
Finally, turn on your Xbox One and check if the issue is resolved.
Check Ethernet Cable (Wired Connection):
If you're using a wired connection, ensure that the Ethernet cable is securely connected to both your Xbox One and the router/modem.
Wireless Connection:
If you're using a wireless connection, try restarting your router. Sometimes, this can clear up DHCP issues.
Static IP Address (Advanced):
If the problem persists, you can try configuring a static IP address for your Xbox One. This can sometimes bypass DHCP issues.
Access your router's settings through a web browser (usually by entering its IP address in the address bar).
Find the section for DHCP settings and note the range of IP addresses it assigns.
