How to Include Party Chat Voices in Live Stream on PS5 Settings (Allow Voices Shared)
2Including party chat voices in your live stream on PS5 is a two-part process. You have to enable the setting for your own broadcast, and each of your friends in the party must also allow their voice to be shared. This ensures that their privacy is respected.
Step 1: Enable Party Audio in Your Broadcast Settings
This is how you tell your PS5 to include the voices of others in your stream.
While in the game you want to stream, press the Create button (the button to the left of the touchpad).
Select Broadcast from the menu that appears.
Choose your streaming service (Twitch, YouTube, etc.).
On the next screen, where you can enter your broadcast details, look for the Broadcast Options button or the three dots (...).
In the Broadcast Options menu, go to Audio.
Make sure the box next to "Include Party Audio" is checked.
You can also find this setting by going to the main PS5 Settings ⚙ ️ Captures and Broadcasts Broadcasts Audio.
Step 2: Have Your Friends Allow Their Voices to be Shared
This is a critical step that many people miss. For a friend's voice to be heard on your stream, they must also adjust a setting on their own console.
Your friend needs to press the PS button to open the Control Center.
Go to the Game Base icon (the headset icon).
Select the party you are in.
Once in the party screen, they need to go to Voice Chat Settings. This is usually found by selecting the three dots (...) for "More."
In the Voice Chat Settings, they need to find the option that says "Allow Voices to be Shared" or "Share Your Voice".
They must change this setting to "Allow".
