To change the real name that is displayed to your close friends on your PS5, you need to go into your account profile settings. Your real name is separate from your Online ID and is only visible to people you have added as "close friends."

How to Change Your Real Name
From the PS5 home screen, go to Settings (the gear icon ⚙ ️ in the top-right corner).

Navigate down and select Users and Accounts.

On the left-hand menu, select Account.

Go to Profile on the right.

Select Name.

You can then edit your first and last name. This is the name that will be visible to your close friends.
