How to Turn your PS5 Controller with Buttons on Controller Manually (Best Method)

However, if that's not working for you, here are some other methods to turn on your PS5 controller using its buttons.
Method 1: Connecting to the PS5 with a USB Cable
This is the most reliable way to power on and sync a controller, especially if it's a new controller or one that has been paired with another device.
Ensure your PS5 console is on.
Connect the USB cable (the one that came with your PS5 works best) into the USB-C port on the top of the controller.
Plug the other end of the cable into a USB port on the front or back of the PS5 console.
The controller should power on automatically and sync with the console. If it doesn't, press the PS button.
Method 2: Pairing with Another Device (Bluetooth Pairing Mode)
